Terms & Conditions
Last updated 12 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Daysly application. The most important clause is the second one: Daysly is an informational tool, not advice, and you remain responsible for your own compliance.
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing or using Daysly (the “App”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms are between you and Daysly.
2. Informational use only — not advice
Daysly does not provide legal, immigration, or tax advice. It is a calculator and a record-keeping tool. Nothing it displays — including day counts, must-leave-by dates, residency indicators, or anything produced by the AI assistant — constitutes advice or creates a professional relationship.
Immigration and tax rules are complex, differ by nationality and personal circumstance, and change without notice. Before making any travel, residency or tax decision you must verify your position against official sources and, where the stakes warrant it, consult a qualified immigration lawyer or tax adviser. Official border and tax records prevail over anything shown in the App.
3. Accuracy and your responsibility
The calculation engine is deterministic and covered by an extensive automated test suite, and we have taken care to implement the rules faithfully. Even so, we do not warrant that any figure is correct or fit for your particular circumstances, because:
- the App can only calculate from the trips you enter, which may be incomplete;
- rules, thresholds and border systems change, sometimes with little notice, and the App may not yet reflect a change;
- special cases — visas, residence permits, dual nationality, exemptions — may alter how a rule applies to you.
You are solely responsible for your own compliance with immigration and tax law.
4. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense or redistribute the App or any part of it, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose, or to facilitate an immigration breach;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users' data, or any connected service;
- interfere with, overload, or circumvent limits on any service the App relies on, including the AI features;
- submit content to the AI features that you have no right to share, or that contains another person's sensitive data without their consent.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Daysly is free to use. Optional Pro features are available by subscription or as a one-time purchase, billed through Google Play. Prices shown in the App and on this site are indicative; the price charged, your currency, and any tax are determined by Google Play at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Refunds are governed by Google Play's policies, and we are generally not able to issue refunds directly.
If a subscription lapses, Pro features stop. Your own records — including any evidence you attached — remain on your device and remain visible to you.
7. Third-party services
Optional features depend on third parties: Google Play for distribution and billing, RevenueCat for entitlements, Supabase for cloud sync, and Groq and Google Gemini for AI processing. Their terms apply to their portion of the service, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
8. Intellectual property
The App, its name, logo, design and underlying software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.
The travel data you enter is yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and sync it if you enable those features, and to process content you submit to the AI features so a response can be returned.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
This expressly includes any fine, penalty, visa refusal, entry ban, deportation, tax assessment, or other loss resulting from an overstay, a residency determination, or any reliance on a figure shown in the App.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ten United States dollars. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, or if we discontinue the App. Clauses 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 and 13 survive termination.
12. Changes to the App and to these terms
We may modify, add or remove features. We may also update these terms; the date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the App before taking effect. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
